6. How can you refuse cookies?

6.2 Refuse third-party cookies in Edge

  1. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner > Settings.
  2. Under Advanced settings, choose Show advanced settings.
  3. Under Cookies > Only block third-party cookies.
  4. Press the 2 arrows pointing to the left at the top to exit the advanced settings menu.

6.3 Refuse third-party cookies in Firefox

  1. Click on the 3 lines in the top right corner. > Click on Options > Privacy.
  2. Change the "Remember History" option to "Use Custom Settings for History" (if not selected already).
  3. Under 'Accept cookies from third parties' choose the 'Never' option.

6.4 Refuse third-party cookies in Chrome

  1. Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner > choose Settings.
  2. In the settings menu, click on 'View advanced settings' at the bottom and the rest of the page with the privacy options will appear.
  3. Choose Settings for content > Cookies. Check the option 'Block indirect cookies and website data'.

6.5 Refuse third-party cookies in Safari (MacOS)

  1. Open Safari and go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy.

7. How can you delete cookies?

7.1 Delete cookies in Internet Explorer

  1. Go to the menu Extra> Internet options> General tab. Click Delete under Browsing History.
  2. You may not want to delete everything. Make sure you at least check "Cookies" and click on Delete.

7.2 Delete cookies in Firefox

  1. Go to Tools> Options> Privacy tab. Click Clear your recent history.
  2. Under Details you can indicate what exactly you want to delete. In any case, check Cookies. You can also indicate how old the cookies must be. Select All here.

7.3 Delete cookies in Chrome

  1. Click on the 3 lines in the top right corner. Click Options> Advanced Options tab. Under Privacy, click Clear browsing data ...
  2. In any case, ensure that Delete cookies and other website data is checked. You can also indicate how old the cookies must be. Select All here.
